here are our turkey tips
#1 – Bigger isn’t necessarily better!
Turkeys take significantly longer to cook once they start going over 18 pounds. Larger birds are also hard to fit in ovens, so we recommend sticking with turkeys between 12 – 18 pounds.
#2 – Cook a party bird!
Instead of doing 1 larger turkey, try doing 2 smaller turkeys, or a turkey and a chicken. You can make a second turkey or chicken with a fun seasoning. Give it a try!
#3 – Order enough for everyone!
We recommend ordering 1 – 1.5# of meat per person you are serving. Thanksgiving is a holiday where people love to eat – and love leftovers – so don’t get caught short on quantity.
