Our Leahy’s Angus Beef steaks are absolutely delicious without any additions, and our Ribeye steaks are ESPECIALLY delicious. However, adding a little something extra on top can take your meal to an even more delicious level, and it can be fun to add some fanciness to your meal. This simple recipe adds a homemade garlic herb butter on top of your steak. The butter is simple to make and can be used to top potatoes, veggies, and more, in addition to your steaks. Give it a try and let us know if you changed the butter recipe at all. It’s easy to customize to your own taste!

  • 4 Leahy's Angus Beef Ribeye Steaks ( Can substitute other steaks as well)
  • LGCM Ultimate Steak and Roast Rub
  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 stick Butter ( softened)
  • 4 clove Garlic ( minced)
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley ( fresh, chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp Thyme ( fresh, chopped)
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Directions

    Cut butter into small chunks and add to a small bowl. Add garlic, parsley, thyme, and pepper to butter. Mix together with a fork or hand mixer until the ingredients are combined well. Place the butter on a sheet of plastic wrap and roll up into a cylinder. Twist the ends tight and put in the refrigerator to cool and become solid.

    Season your steaks generously with LGCM Ultimate Steak and Roast Rub. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Once hot, add steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until the steaks reach 135ºF for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

    Serve steaks with a scoop of garlic herb butter on top, a baked potato, and fresh vegetables. Use garlic herb butter on top of the vegetables as well. Enjoy!
