LGCM + LGPL: A RECIPE FOR WINNING!
October is National Cookbook Month and Lake Geneva Country Meats and the Lake Geneva Public Library have teamed up to celebrate. There are plenty of places online (including this website) to get recipes, but when it comes to finding high quality, tested recipes, nothing beats a good old fashioned cookbook. Did you know the Lake Geneva Public Library has almost 200 cookbooks? We want you to discover them all, so this October, we’re offering 3 incentives for you to get down to the Library and get into a cookbook. Here they are:
- Every time you check out a cookbook from the Lake Geneva Public Library in October, you’re entered to win a $50 LGCM Gift Card. One random winner will be chosen.
- If you cook a recipe from one of the cookbooks you checked out, take a picture of your finished product, and upload it to the contest before October 20th. One random winner will get a $100 LGCM Steak & Wine package. You can enter multiple recipes, so get cooking!
- We’re going to be adding to the Library’s collection of cookbooks so that there are even more fresh resources at the Library. We have a list of 10 books below that the Library would love to add to their collection. Vote for up to 3 of your favorites, and LGCM will donate the top 3 vote getting books to Library.
