WHISKEY LAUNCH PARTY & COCKTAIL SAMPLING
At this event, we will be releasing the new LGCM exclusive single barrel of Great Northern whiskey. This barrel is Great Northern’s Rye Whiskey that has been finished in a rum barrel. The result is a uniquely flavored whiskey that has sweetness from the rum barrel complementing the spiciness of the rye whiskey. Supplies are very limited, and attending this event guarantees that you have the opportunity to purchase a bottle.
In addition to getting a sample of the new single barrel, we’ll have Great Northern’s core lineup of handcrafted spirits available for sampling. You’ll be able to try these award winning spirits, meet staff from the distillery, and experience some of their unique cocktail creations.
CHEESE DEBUT & SAMPLING
Ron Henningfield, owner of Hill Valley Dairy, and brother in law of GND distiller Tyler, has made some very special cheese for this event that uses GND products in as an ingredient in the cheese. You’ll get to be the first (and maybe the only) to try these limited edition cheeses. If you like them, we’ll be raffling off some of this very rare (and very tasty) cheese for you to take home! We’ll also have some of Hill Valley Dairy’s “normal” cheese available for you to sample and purchase.
SUPPORT CHARITY
Proceeds from the cheese raffle will support Open Arms Free Clinic in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Open Arms Free Clinic is the first and only free medical and supportive care clinic in Walworth County serving low-income and uninsured residents with primary medical, dental, vision, behavioral health, lab and pharmaceutical assistance.
MEAT
Last, but not least, of course we’ll have meat from Lake Geneva Country Meats for you to snack on! We’ll have a few light meat treats, and, of course, they’ll be whiskey themed.
