Lake Geneva Country Meats is proud to announce that for the third consecutive year, we will be sponsoring the Charity Check portion of Lake Geneva Restaurant Week. This program is an impactful way for Lake Geneva Country Meats to expose five worthy area charities to a wider audience. The Charity Check is a program where at the end of a meal at an establishment participating in Lake Geneva Restaurant Week, diners are presented with a ballot containing five charities. Diners may then vote for their favorite charity, and the charity that wins the most votes will receive a $5,000 donation courtesy of Lake Geneva Country Meats.
The five charities are picked by a committee based on applications received from local charities and we need applications! To have your area charity considered for the Charity Check, please download this form, fill it out and return it, following the instructions on the form. All qualified applicants are considered based on their merit and uniqueness of their mission. We ask for applications to be submitted by March 8, 2017.
Past winners include Agape House in 2016 and The Tree House – Walworth County Alliance for Children in 2015. Including the 2017 donation, Lake Geneva Country Meats’ total commitment to our community through this program will total $15,000, and we consider it money well invested! You can learn more details about Lake Geneva Restaurant Week on the Visit Lake Geneva website or see last year’s participating charities by visiting our blog post.
