Here’s our two minute guide to oven roasting a Leahy’s Angus Beef Roast! This is a very simple and easy cooking method for preparing a flavorful beef roast to enjoy for dinner. In the video and photo walk through, we use a Sirloin Tip Roast, but this will work for any Leahy’s Angus Beef roast. This is a simple cooking instruction guide, to see how to prepare a Pot Roast with Vegetables and Gravy, search the site for “Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast”!

Ingredients

  • Leahy’s Angus Beef Roast
  • LGCM Ultimate Steak and Roast Rub
  • Olive Oil
  • Beef Broth

Directions

  1. Season your roast by rubbing it in olive oil and then shaking LGCM Ultimate Steak and Roast Rub all over it. This adds flavor and a delicious crust.

  2. Place your roast on a wire pan on top of a roasting pan and fill the bottom with beef broth. This will create a simple gravy and help keep the roast moist.

  3. Roast at 450F for 30 minutes to sear in the flavor.

  4. Turn down the oven to 350F and bake for 10-15 minutes per lb. until you reach an internal temperature of 140F. Check the roast early so you don’t overcook it!

  5. Let the roast sit for 15 minutes to allow the juices to settle.

  6. Slice and enjoy!
