Pork Tenderloin with Mushrooms
- 2 whole fresh pork tenderloins
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Sauté onion, celery and mushrooms in 1/4 butter of margarine.
Add builon cube and water. Brown pork tenderloins. Add
salt and pepper. Pour vegetable sauce over meat. Cover and
bake at 325 degrees until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees
(about 2 hours, use a meat thermometer to check). Let rest for
10 minutes before slicing. |
