Lake Geneva Country Meats Pulled Pork B.B.Q. Sandwiches
Serves 10 – 12
- 5-51/2 pounds Lake Geneva Country Meats boneless pork shoulder roast
- Custom pork spice rub from Lake Geneva Country Meats
- 1-cup chicken broth
- 2 cups cider vinegar
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsps. Honey
- 1 tbsp. ground red pepper
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. Salt
- Hot pepper sauce to taste
- Coleslaw
B.B.Q. sauce: in medium bowl, combine vinegar, brown sugar, honey, red pepper, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and hot pepper sauce. Divide sauce into two portions, set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rub pork with custom spice blend. Cook pork in covered roasting pan with cup of chicken broth. For 3 to 4 hours. Remove pan from oven and let meat stand for 20 to 30 minutes. Using a fork, shred meat into long thin strands. Pour sauce over shredded meat. Toss to coat. Serve on toasted buns. Top meat with coleslaw. Serve with remaining sauce on the side.
