Did you know Wisconsin produces more than 40 million pounds of apples each year?  Our love of apples, apple picking and apple pie inspired this beef and pork sausage.  We season this bratwurst with apple bits and apple pie seasonings to make a sweetly flavored bratwurst with just a hint of cinnamon.  It’s perfect to enjoy in the fall after a day of apple picking or anytime you’re cooking for apple flavor!

One of our most popular seasonal bratwursts, the Beer and Sauerkraut Bratwurst is made with Geneva Lake Brewing Company Cedar Point Amber Beer! To add a rich beer boiled flavor to this bratwurst, we add fresh hops, and sauerkraut! We love the flavor and partnering with our local brewery! This bratwurst is only available during Brat-Tober Fest, which is generally the last two weeks of each September and the first week of each October. Stock up on this awesome sausage while you can!

Bockwurst

This is a delicious sausage made from pork and veal that has egg and green onion seasoning. The seasoning is light and delicate, so make sure when you cook this fresh sausage that you prepare it by heating it in hot water, not boiling it. We don’t want the bratwurst to split open and lose flavor to the water! This is a traditional Bavarian sausage that was generally made during the spring and drank with a bock beer. Makes sense, right? Now, it is made year round and is a favorite treat during Oktoberfest in Munich. Serve it with mustard and kraut and enjoy! Our Bockwurst is part of our "Heritage Sausage" line of sausages that we made to celebrate our 11 awards from the German Butcher's Association. Have you tried our Currywurst? Currywurst is a bratwurst with a sweet curry sauce inside for a sweet and tangy flavor.  The sausage is a popular German street food that originated in 1949 when a German restaurateur mixed ketchup and curry powder and put the sauce on top of a bratwurst. It was all she could get in post war Germany, but this unlikely combination proved to be a hit and now over 800 million currywursts are eaten every year in Germany! We put the sauce inside the bratwurst for your convenience, but this is still true to the original German recipe, so come give it a try this Brat-Tober Fest. These are a “fun size” bratwurst made in the traditional smaller size that the city of Nürnberg embraces. These tasty all pork sausages are about the size of our normal pork sausage links. We season them with an authentic blend of marjoram, mace, nutmeg and more to give these bratwursts a distinctive flavor. Enjoy a traditional German meal by boiling these brats and then grilling them over a beechwood fire! Serve six or more sausages on a plate with sauerkraut and mustard. It’s a delicious meal that you can also split with a friend! If you’d like to put the bratwursts in a bun, mimic the German street vendors and put three of the sausages in a normal size bun and top with mustard to your own taste. Enjoy! Every summer, this sweet treat is released for a limited time only for grillers everywhere to enjoy. Sweet Vidalia Onions are only available fresh in the summertime, and that’s the only time we make our summer seasonal bratwurst. We take our Traditional Brat and fill it with chopped, sweet Vidalia Onions to make a mouthwatering sausage creation that perfectly fits the summertime. Soak it in beer and cook it over medium heat as you enjoy a beautiful summer evening. The Vidalia Onion Bratwurst is generally available from May - September, but availability depends on the supply of Vidalia Onions each year.

Weisswurst

Weisswurst

Weisswurst is a traditional Bavarian Sausage that is made from pork and veal. Without beef, they take on a whiter color, thus the name “white sausage.” The weisswurst is a finely ground sausage that is seasoned with a blend of lemon, parsley and more spices like mace and ginger. Our weisswurst is a fresh sausage that are traditionally prepared by heating in hot (not boiling) water until the sausages are cooked through. The sausages are then served in the bowl that they were cooked in, with the hot water still inside to keep the sausages warm. Traditionally, the sausage is eaten without the casing by sucking the meat out the end and enjoyed with pretzels and mustard! You don’t have to eat the sausage this way, but if you want to be a Wurst Meister, you should give it a try! Our Weisswurst is part of our "Heritage Sausage" line of sausages that we made to celebrate our 11 awards from the German Butcher's Association.
